Quarter Zero was built to help young people learn how to turn ideas into action.
The goal isn’t simply to teach students how to start a company. It’s to help them become better problem-solvers — young people who know how to ask questions, test ideas, learn from failure, understand other people, communicate clearly, and keep moving when the answer isn’t obvious.
The Q-Zero Handbook walks students step-by-step through that process, from developing an entrepreneurial mindset and identifying meaningful problems to interviewing customers, building prototypes, testing ideas, finding product-market fit, selling, pitching, and finding mentors.
Q-Zero Programs for Educators and Partners
The Q-Zero Handbook is what students read. These programs are how the adults around them learn to run it.
Q-Zero Educator Workshop
A live training for teachers, school club advisors, and program administrators who use the Q-Zero Handbook in a classroom, school club, or after-school program. You don’t need to be an entrepreneur to run it. You need to know how the Handbook is built and where students get stuck.
What we cover
How the Handbook is sequenced and why: mindset first, then problems, then customers, then prototypes
Running a customer-interview session with students who have never talked to a stranger on purpose
Prototyping and testing with a small budget and one class period
Coaching the pitch without writing it for them
Using the mentor chapter to bring local business owners into your club
The common ways a club stalls early, and what to do about it
What you leave with
A week-by-week plan for a Q-Zero School Club or classroom unit built on the Handbook
Facilitation scripts for the three hardest sessions: customer interviews, first prototype, first pitch
A rubric that rewards learning over polish
Workshops run live online or in person at your school, sized for a single department or a full district.
